Joe started his career in Financial Services in 2006 working with one of the largest Banks in the world. He has worked with clients of all backgrounds in a range of advice areas including lending, investing and estate planning.
Most recently he worked with a new company building up an advice firm from start up.
Joe also heads up Compliance and AML.

Outside of work, I'm passionate about cooking, with a particular love for Mediterranean cuisine and traditional English dishes my Northern Italian ragu with tagliatelle is a firm favourite. I also enjoy mountain biking and dog walking, though much of my free time is spent as a father / taxi driver for my two demanding children as they shuttle between clubs and activities.

Paul's career began in 2004 when he qualified as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Since then, he has accumulated a wealth of experience in the financial services sector, serving in various high-impact roles including adviser, director, and sales manager. With a career spanning the length and breadth of the UK, Paul has developed an extensive network of professional connections and possesses a nuanced understanding of the financial landscape. His broad knowledge and strategic insight make him uniquely equipped to provide clients with tailored solutions that meet their financial goals.
Sarah spent the early part of her career working as a statistician and management consultant. She also started a property investment company in 2007 where she helped individuals invest into residential property. Whist working on clients property portfolios Sarah began to work closely with wealth managers and then went on to train as a financial adviser herself and built her own practice with St James's Place. Sarah joined Finsgate in 2024 and provides financial advice to individuals and businesses on all matters related to their financial well being, specifically tax advice, investments, pensions, estate planning as well as business and personal protection
Mark started his career as an IFA in 1986. He has built up two large IFA firms from inception. Mark advises NHW clients in the banking, hedge fund and investment sectors
Gary started his career in the early 1990's and worked for the Woolwich and Bradford & Bingley. He moved to the independent advice sector in 2007. He specialises in retirement planning and works closely with his clients in helping them plan for the time they finish work. Although this is area of advice he tends to work in, he's also proficient in investments and estate planning.
He has an eye for detail and goes out of his way to make sure his clients are involved in every step of their financial planning 'journey'. As a straight-talking Yorkshireman, he cuts-through any jargon and explains things to clients at a level which works for them.
He lives in Halifax with his partner, children and two dogs. He's a keen cyclist and loves the outdoors.
